Happy Birthday Alan

Alan turns the big 30 today! I think he is having a little issue not being in his twenties anymore!

Happy Birthday babe, I hope your day is all you wished for! You are the best husband and father I could ask for.

Lessons learned!

So Saturday was my birthday and I have learned that as you get older birthdays just are not as much fun! I did learn somethings though:

Plan for 4 hours at the hair salon when you really only thought it would take 2(I was so hungry when I left!)

Make sure to place Rte 44 diet coke in actual cup holder, so you don't spill its entire contents on your van floor (thanks babe for shampooing that up)

Even if you are really mad at your 3 year old for playing in the potty, DO NOT try and slam his door, especially when your finger is in between the door and frame. (Also, if bleeding, do not run around house shaking your hand, it will fling blood drops everywhere!)

After a full day of bloopers, be thankful for your wonderful sister in law who watched you kids while you spent a wonderful evening out with your hubby!

Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday.

Here are some Pics from Preston's Birthday

Happy Birthday Preston!

Today, my little boy turns 3! I can not believe how fast time has gone by for us. It seems like just yesterday we were at the hospital waiting for him to be born. He is such an amazing little boy, and we are so blessed to have him in our family. He is a great big brother and an awesome helper for me. He learns new things each day, and amazes us with the things he comes up with. He is so imaginative. I can't wait to see what this next year brings and how he will be with his new baby brother.

We love you Preston!

Animal Park and The Beach

We went to the Animal Kingdom on Monday. The Safari they had was pretty cool, they also had some good things for the kids. Unfortunately, when Alan, mom and dad went back to ride Everest it was shut down.

Alan, the kids and I went to the beach this morning. The water was awesome! the kids really had fun finding shells and playing in the water. We certainly took this for granted when we lived here.

Week One

We have had a pretty eventful week. The kids and I just relaxed on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday Alan and my Aunt and two cousins came in. Then on Thursday we went to Sea World and my great Aunt and her son, his wife and daughter came in. Friday we went to Disney World and Saturday we went to Sea Worlds Water Park.

Thursday, after being there for an hour or so we had a torrential down pour. Alan's brother Buzz, his girlfriend Amanda and son Jacob were also there.

Friday, we got rained on about halfway through. I got to be an invalid pregnant woman and we got me a scooter. It turned out to be a good thing because it got us to the front of some lines! I felt like an idiot, especially when people would stare and wonder why I was on it! FYI, going to Disney 7 months pregnant in July NOT a good idea even with a scooter!

The kids had a blast; Grace LOVED the princesses and was a little frightened of Mickey and Minnie

Saturday, we did not take any pics at the water park. We had a Birthday dinned that night for the birthdays. My mom turns 50 on Oct. 27th, my dad turns 56 on Aug. 14th, Alan turns 30 on the 19th, I turn 27 on the 15th, my cousin Brittney turns 18 on the 3rd and Preston turns 3 on the 8th. We added it all up and it equals something like 182 years.
