Why Alan is the best Husband in the World
I have been wanting some type of shelving up. I don't have a lot of places to put decorations since i want most of them out of little hands reach.
On his last day off, as part of my Christmas present he made these for me.
We also went and got family pictures taken.

Snow and Pictures
Like I mentioned before, it snowed a few inches yesterday. Preston had a cold, so he stayed home while Alan and Gracie went to the gym. He and I decided to play in the snow while they were gone. He had a blast.
I have been trying to get some pictures of the kids for Christmas. I haven’t attempted with Preston yet, but here are the best from Grace and Collin.

Christmas Program
Preston had his Christmas Program at the Pre-School last night. It was really short and sweet, one song that was all.

It's begining to look a lot like Christmas
We went and got our Christmas tree yesterday. It is much larger than it looked at the store. We almost had to trim the top for it to fit in the room.
Yes that Angel is holding a fishing rod with a fish, bet you can’t guess whose idea that was!
This afternoon, Preston woke up from his nap earlier than Grace, so we took the opportunity to decorate a gingerbread house. He did almost the entire candy placement on his own. It was a lot of fun.
I am so excited to decorate this year, I have made several decorations and my craft room looks like Hobby Lobby threw up in it. Check them out at my craft site; it is linked on the sidebar.
Here is my display so far, we don’t have much shelve or table room, so I have to come up with more places to put things.

Thanksgiving 09
We had a wonderful visit from Alan’s Dad and wife Suzan for Thanksgiving. Alan had to work on Thanksgiving Day, so we celebrated on Friday.
The kids are doing really well, Grace is making progress in her speech and Preston is amazing me with his reasoning every day. Collin will be 8 weeks tomorrow. It has gone by so fast. He is reacting to more sounds and smiling at us on occasion. He has been the happiest today so far.

Halloween
We went Trick or Treating last night with the kids. It was fun to see the kids get so excited about it.
Preston was a Pirate, Grace was a good Witch, and Collin was Preston's Swashbuckling Pal.
We also Carved the kids pumpkins, that was interesting. Grace tried to eat the pumpkin guts!
Collin is 4 weeks old today, the time has gone by so fast! He is holding his head up more and is starting to be a little more aware of his surroundings.
When I went to upload these photos this morning, I discovered the kids had apparently gotten
ahold of the camera, these are the best of the 50 or so pictures they took
This is what I found the other day in the playroom
They were pretending it was a train
