Wow! We have been Busy

We are finally in Kansas and somewhat settled. Preston, Gracie, my mom and I arrived last Saturday. Luckaly Alan and his sister Jen had the house mostly unpacked so we were able to jump right into decorating. Alot of money and work latter it is mostly done.
We LOVE the house it is a 5 bedroom split level with a basement. I love having a basement, it gives us so much more room and storage, plus the play room is down there so it can stay a little messy with out emabrising us when people come over.

The kids are adjusting well, it was really hard to say goodbye to my mom yesterday, but we plan on seeing her often!

We made a trip to Colorado Springs to see Alan's mom, stepdad and my Grandparents and Aunt and Uncle. It is about a four hour drive from Garden City through thte middle of no where. Although as my mom found out, there are cops! We had a great time:

Preston and Gracie got to spend time with Papa and Ruth.

We went to the Garden of the Gods with Papa

and then went to see the Tarfly (a 1/10 replica of the B-17 Papa was shot down in before becoming a POW at Stalag 17. It took Papa 7 years to build it!)

We also wen to a cool resturant named Solos where we ate inside an airplane!

Uncle Bill and Aunt Alane came over for diner also.

We got to see Grandma Cleo, Grandpa Jim and Alan's best friend from highschol Tim and his wife and son Natalie and Zack. Preston and Zack are about 12 days apart so it was fun to see them play.

Grandma Cleo Bought Preston a Broncos Sweatshirt, won't DeDa (my dad and a HUGE Broncos fan) be proud!

Gracie has started to sit in her bumbo! She enjoys it

Oh yeah and it snowed yesterday

The day before it was in the 70's and then it snowed the next day! Welcome to Kansas!
