Preston is an Airplane!

Originally Preston wanted to be a bumble bee, but all of them were really girly so I asked him what else he wanted to be and he choose an airplane. Here is the finished product, it is a little homemade looking but oh well:

We have trunk or treat tomorrow at church so he will try it out there, we aren't sure if we are going on Friday yet.

Lets ChaCha

Things are going well around here, it actually snowed last week a little mostly flurries that melted before it touched the ground. We are hoping for a really good snow before we leave for Florida next month on vacation. My family is going on a cruise to the Caribbean! We are getting really excited.

Anyway, in preparation for the cruise we are trying to save as much money as possible, I stumbled upon a work at home opportunity called ChaCha. What is it? Well people text questions to 242242, any question imaginable from who won the baseball game to the name and number of a business, to some a little more risky questions. I get those questions on my computer, form them into readable questions and forward them on to someone who researches the question and replies back with an answer. It is really cool and free to the customer, only the phone company text rates apply. You can learn more here. I have a goal of 10 dollars a day, which takes me about 2 hours. It doesn't seem like much but it adds up and I can do it at home while the kids are napping or even playing. If you do decide to do it, can you reference me please email: montgomery08@gmail.com.

It is fun to see all the random questions asked. Have fun ChaChaing!

Gross and funny

Fair Warning this is EWWWW

For those of you who have babies or have had babies, you know sometimes you have to pick their boogers. Alan swears this is why women's fingers are smaller than men's so that we can get them up our babies noses! Any who, Gracie has had some big ones lately but she HATES me trying to get them out. Last night Alan was holding her so I could get them out and she was blowing air in and out of her nose, think of a bull when it is mad, this is what she does. So she is doing this and a bugger flies from her nose straight into her open mouth! It was so gross! Alan kept telling me to fish it out and I refused, Gracie was happy because she got something to chew on and Alan was just plain grossed out!

Preston has this new thing where if you correct him he will say Oh, such and such. This morning he was playing with an Air Force One plane Alan got him, I was telling him how it was special because the President flies in it:

Me: That plane is special

Preston: No it is a plane

Me: Yes a special plane the President flies in.

Preston: Presents!

Me: No the President

Preston: Oh, President

Why you never let a 2 year old alone coloring

Yesterday, I put Preston at the table to color and went downstairs to get Gracie up from her nap. While I was changing her diaper he told me his hand was blue, then I came upstairs and saw this:

Luckily there was no coloring of the wall, carpet etc. and the markers were non-toxic.

Gracie

I may be slightly biased but I have the most adorable little girl. She is like a hoover vacuum, if there is food on the ground or around her chair she wants to eat it, this is the result of trying to get something off the bench next to her:

Alan, the kids and I went to Great Bend, KS this past week for a training Alan had. I always enjoy going to new towns because most likely they have better shopping and eating than us. they had a dollar store and I found Gracie's Halloween outfit there:

Fishing Trip

Alan went to Red Feather, CO this past week. My uncle owns a cabin up there, so my dad, uncle bill, grandfather, cousin Jason and my honorary Uncle Alan all went up there to spend the week trout fishing.

He had a blast, in fact, anyone who knows Alan knows he can't go a day without one sometimes two showers. He went 7 days! Although that was the first thing he did at 11:30 last night when he got home.

Where does this kid learn things!

I will update soon with pictures from Alan's fishing trip as soon as he wakes up and give me the camera.

This morning, Preston got up first, which is a rare thing, most of the time lately he and Gracie will wake up at the same time. So I get up and let Alan sleep in, he isn't feeling well today. Apparently he ate a raw fish liver on his trip! Again, smart, great guy. Sometimes not the best decision making skills!

Anyway, while Preston was eating his breakfast, I told him to finish it up and then I had a surprise for him (daddy is home) well this is the conversation:

Me: Finish your breakfast and then you will have a surprise

Preston: A Prize?

Me: Yes a surprise

Preston: Is it my Birthday!

I kid you not, the kid is two, where did he get surprise means your birthday!

Mini Pig tails

Gracie's hair is just long enough to have some mini pig tails. I thought she looked odd at first but now I think it is cute.
I had to take the pics on the webcam because Alan has the camera for his fishing trip.
